Techfive is now a Claude Partner Network member. Here's what that means for Joplin and Overland Park.

Anthropic accepted Techfive into the Claude Partner Network and issued us the Claude Code partner badge. Both are vendor-issued credentials. The badge is published on Credly, so you can check it yourself before you read another word.
This post explains what those two things are, why they matter to a small business that is not in the software industry, and what changes for our clients in Joplin, MO and Overland Park, KS. If you would rather see the summary, it lives on our certified AI partners page.
What we earned
The Claude Partner Network is Anthropic's program for firms that build on Claude for clients. Membership is reviewed. You apply, you show what you have built and how you build it, and Anthropic decides. It is not a checkbox on a signup form.
The Claude Code partner badge is a separate credential for partners deploying Claude Code, Anthropic's agentic coding tool. It is issued through Credly, the same platform that holds most professional IT certifications, which means it is public and it is verifiable.
We are not aware of another firm in the Four State Area holding both. If you know of one, tell us. We would rather the list be accurate than short.
Why a partner badge matters to you
Every IT company in the country added the word AI to its website in the last two years. Most of them mean “we use ChatGPT.” A vendor credential is a different thing, for three reasons.
Direct access to the platform. We work from Anthropic's platform and engineering guidance directly. When a model or a tool changes, we hear about it early and adjust your build before it breaks something. No reseller in between. No waiting for a forum thread to explain what happened.
Proof, not a pitch. A badge is issued by a third party after review. It says someone other than us looked at how we build. You do not have to take our word for it, and you should not take anyone's word for it.
Built the way the vendor intends. Partner guidance covers the boring, important parts of deploying AI: where your data goes, how it is kept out of places it should not be, and how to keep a person in the loop for the decisions that need one. We build to that, not to a YouTube tutorial.
What changes in Joplin
Our headquarters is at 2024 S Maiden Ln, Suite 204 in Joplin. That office is now the home base for a certified Anthropic partner, and it is a place you can walk into. Most of what we build for Four State businesses is for trades, manufacturers, and field crews: quotes drafted from a jobsite walkthrough, dispatch that reroutes itself when a job cancels, inventory that reorders before the truck rolls.
Nothing about the offer changes. Show us the workflow, we build a free working slice of it, we demo it, and only then do we talk about a proposal. What changes is what stands behind the work. See managed IT and AI in Joplin for the local details.
What changes in Overland Park
We have supported Overland Park and Johnson County businesses for years with managed IT and cybersecurity. The same engineers now deliver AI and custom software under partner credentials. The work there skews toward professional services, healthcare practices, and specialty businesses: intake that files itself, documents reviewed before a person opens them, follow-up that actually happens.
There is no storefront in Johnson County. There are engineers who know the area and show up on site when a project calls for it. See managed IT and AI in Overland Park.
What we build
Three ways to work with us, all described plainly on the Advisory page: AI Enablement for businesses still figuring out where AI fits, Custom Builds when you already know what needs fixing, and Managed Support to keep it running after launch. The Our Work page shows platforms and tools we have shipped that are running today.
If you are not sure where to start, the Automation Readiness Scorecard takes two minutes and tells you something real about your business. No account, no sales call.
How to verify
The Claude Code badge is on Credly. Ask us and we will send the Partner Network confirmation as well. When you evaluate any AI firm, ask for the same. If they cannot show you a verifiable record, treat the claim accordingly.
Security is part of the credential
AI that reads your email and touches your records is a security decision as much as a software one. Our engineering team holds CompTIA Security+ and CySA+ alongside the Anthropic credentials. The people wiring AI into your systems are the same people who lock those systems down.
